Sarah J. Everhart


Sarah J. Everhart recently joined the Firm. Prior to joining K&C, Ms. Everhart worked in the Federal Coordination and Compliance Office at the U.S. Department of Justice and in the Employment & Training Administration at the U.S. Department of Labor, where she worked on federal compliance matters, interagency coordination, federal and congressional finance laws, discrimination for federally assisted programs, and regulatory and program review. Ms. Everhart also clerked for a Federal Administrative Law Judge where she reviewed administrative trial and appellate legal disputes, evaluated non-compliance penalties, and drafted settlement agreements.


Ms. Everhart received her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 2020. During law school, she worked in the Income Tax Clinic where she negotiated with the IRS and saved four clients over $50,000. Ms. Everhart’s outstanding research and writing skills resulted in her election to Associate Editor on the Journal of International Law and Commerce, and being selected as the Research Assistant for a faculty run committee at Syracuse Law School. Ms. Everhart is admitted to practice in New York.
