JIAYANG “PORTIA” CHEN

Jiayang “Portia” Chen joined the firm in 2024. Prior to joining Kosakoff & Cataldo, Ms. Chen worked with the American Chemistry Council, where she gained valuable experience in regulatory law. She also has experience in immigration law, focusing on investment-based matters while she interned at a New York law firm. Ms. Chen earned her Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School in 2024. During law school, she served as a staff member of the William & Mary Business Law Journal, participated in the Low-Income Tax Clinic assisting local clients with complex tax issues, and founded the International Law Student Alliance, where she organized career development panels for international law students. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bates College in 2020, graduating cum laude. Ms. Chen is admitted to practice law in New York and is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association.
