Mediation

 

Kosakoff & Cataldo, LLP provides mediation services privately and through the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”).  David B. Kosakoff, a Senior Partner of the Firm, has been providing services as a mediator for several years.  He is a member of the Construction Panel of Mediators for AAA since 2016.  He has also been appointed to the Commercial Panel of Mediators for the Nassau County Supreme Court and the Commercial Division ADR Panel for the New York County Supreme Court.  Mr. Kosakoff received training from the AAA and at the Harvard Business Institute.  His emphasis is addressing construction disputes ranging from small matters to multi-million dollar claims between multiple parties. 

 

Mr. Kosakoff recognizes that most cases are resolved prior to trial.  His philosophy that participating in mediation as a means of achieving an early resolution can result in considerable savings of legal fees, and minimize the time that parties are forced to devote to the litigation process which could be better spent on their businesses or personal lives.  He can be contacted directly to assist parties if required. dkosakoff@kcllp.net
